The project I presented at this year’s SURVIVAL was based on creative work with a computer programme code (…). The suggested form of a mandala – a cross-symmetrical image – could be transformed as a result of interactive play with the computer interface, thus activating a multilayer musical structure, including fragments of aliquot singing – the symbol of acoustic harmony of the universe. The reminiscence of ‘tangram’ – a children’s game which enables indefinite combinations of a limited number of geometric figures – was a fertilising impulse for creating a work of art as an ‘ontological mirror’ of the internal sphere.
