The Fountain of Destiny

Visitors to the main hall of the Auditorium are greeted by a dreamlike, illuminated object – an ornamented pot with an exotic plant. The materials used to make the piece (laser beams, LED displays, water steam) add to the spectacular character of the work. Inspired by the monumental flowerbed found in the modernist Auditorium, this actually absurd object could be perceived as an ironic comment on our belief in progress and admiration for the new technologies.
