Dubai is called the city of the future. It is a global capital of luxury and economic success. Huge investment projects are carried out thanks to the work of thousands of badly paid contract workers from Southern Asia. Przemek Węgrzyn’s video shows a typical construction site in Dubai. In order to meet very tight deadlines, the workers toil day and night. Lullaby is an oneiric tale about the triumph of capitalism and new forms of human exploitation that are emerging in front of our eyes.
