QIGONG Training Suit

QIGONG Training Suit was probably the most ephemeral work at the Review, which was a tribute to harmony and awareness of one’s body. It was an hour-long performance by a master of the qigong technique, a movement discipline which is generally unknown in Poland. The instructor’s silhouette, performing a sequence of slow movements in a costume prepared especially for that occasion by the artists, was dominated by the vast playing field of the main pitch of ‘Oławka’. Although inadequate for this kind of physical activity, the surroundings created a picturesque framework, which further emphasised the aura of calm concentration.
