Target
The object consists of a circular mirror the size of a shooting target, with so-called scoring rings pasted on it. Thus when looking into the mirror-target, the viewer perceives himself as the target. The installation is complemented with a poster found in the former barracks depicting a shooting thug, which is placed on the opposite wall. The expression “come under fire” takes on a special meaning here – by virtue of the perverse arrangement of the installation elements, we expose ourselves and end up “in the line of fire.”
