Work-free Days

In almost any workplace we can find the characteristic wall calendar with a transparent strap with a square indicating the current date. The calendar at the Lathing Machines Factory designed by Honorata Jakubowska slightly differs from the original – it lacks colours marking holidays, weekends, or even division into weeks. Thus the artist presents a vision of a life with no work-free days, in which the subsequent months blur into a monotonous whole, fully controlled by the rhythm of work.
