Match / Rivals

In the Rivals work, a video recording of the TV ‘snow’ display was presented. If the viewer took the trouble to look hard, it was possible to make out multiplied inscriptions which said ‘rivals’ colliding with each other on the buzzing black-and-white screen. The work could be interpreted in two ways – it might be a visual metaphor of a sports match or an allegory of our everyday life struggles.
