From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

In her performance, Klaudia Korzonek endeavoured to scrub a footbridge near the National Museum, in the proximity of the Gondola Bay. She was joined in her Sisyphean labour by her mother as well as artists and lecturers from the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Wrocław – Maria Wrońska and Tomasz Opania. Cleaning the little bridge with brushes and water drawn from the Oder in no way improved the appearance of the uneven tarmac surface.
The attempt to clean the footbridge, which was doomed to failure from the very beginning, illustrated the frequently futile attempts to beautify the public space, which is often neglected and exposed to the influence of more or less random forces.
