The Professional

During SURVIVAL, visitors to the exhibition could at certain times confess their good deeds. The confessions were written down and subsequently displayed on a screen making up the installation titled The Professional. “A professional is the opposite of a confessional. It is a space in which one’s good deeds are confessed – both small and lifechanging ones. Before going to the professional, you remember moments when you behaved selflessly and momentarily existed for others. Here you won’t hear clichéd formulas, punishments and rewards, praises and reprimands or a sense of guilt. There are only facts – how many good deeds you have accumulated. This is your capital, which is called karma by some.” Kolektyw Dracena / Dracena Collective
