Room

The space of our everyday life is constantly shrinking – due to the media, the Internet and airplanes. So a room has acquired completely new meanings today. We are often closer to people who live very far away than to neighbours. This situation gives us a sense of freedom, guarantees the possibility of staying away from matters of our immediate environment. On the other hand, all successful human relationships require physical contact (eye contact, gestures addressed directly to the interlocutor). We can – in the imagination, virtually – create pictures of places that we have never visited. Although we have no direct relationship with them, these pictures can engage us emotionally. We can live in isolation, with no physical contact with others.

I wanted to build a place in which you can experience yourself.
