Sculpture Eaten by a Snail

At a glance, the peculiar object seems to be made of fragile ceramics. In fact, however, it is made of durable cast iron. It constitutes a portrait of a kind, somebody’s image devoured by a pest. In the context of the exhibition, the sculpture refers to looting at all levels – from ecosystems to political systems.
