Teacups
Dozens of white porcelain teacups lined up by the pond were only discernible from a short distance. Seen from afar, they strongly resembled white birds sitting on the shore. The subtle forms of the dishes were added to the landscape and functioned like props in the scenery of an urban park-garden. The Teacups installation, thanks to its highly formalised character, triggered a chain of associations with other works of modern art and culture, evoking images full of charm and nostalgia.
