Columns – symbolic foundations of European culture – appear in several works by the artist. They always come into interaction with the surroundings. The venues where the sculptures are shown could be stately historical edifices or banal and dilapidated spaces. In all these contexts, stories emerge at the intersection of old and new reality, old and new order and culture.
Importantly, in his search for beauty of the form, the artist uses artificial and mediocre materials, such as Styrofoam, carton or gypsum.
